I need to grab one of these SP's from the WW. This is a points league and most owners load their bench with SP's to stream when they get 2 starts per week. Who is my best option, or even top 2-3? I have 1 open roster spot. WHIR
Colon
J McDonald
Narveson
Britton
Doubront
Pomeranz
Smyly
Pettite
L Lynn
C Richard

I picked up Colon today. His next two starts are against the very bad Mariners, which he dominated last week in Tokyo.

Colon vs the M's is the easy pick for me.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

BigLebowski wrote:Colon - Decent early season play
Doubront - Sneaky 4th starter for the Sox. I'd watch a couple before throwing him in my lineup though
Pomeranz - talented..could kill your whip. Could be the best Rocky pitcher to own this season.
C Richard - Only start him at Home.
Thanks "Dude".
Since this is a points league, I don't really have to worry about Pomeranz WHIP hurting me. It sees like my choice is between he and Colon.

I like Colon over Pomeranz even though Pomeranz is the hot "name" right now. Colon pitching in Oakland and his next two starts against the Mariners is very enticing to me.

Thanks all. Pomeranz got picked up while I was debating, so I grabbed Colon.
