Looking for a league

Postby Dodgerblue8188 » Fri Mar 23, 2012 11:00 pm

I've done fantasy baseball since 2008. I am not currently in any leagues. I'd like to try and find a roto league. I might be interested in h2h depending on how often lineup changes can be made. I'd prefer an online draft.

Fantasy Baseball United: Constitution I

5x5 Standard Rotisserie: 12 Teams

Roster Positions:
2 C
1 1B
1 2B
1 SS
1 3B
1 MI (middle infielder: SS or 2B eligible)
1 CI (corner infielder: 3B or 1B eligible)
4 OF
2 U (utility: open to all positions except pitchers)
9 P

Reserve: 6 positions
Injured: 2 positions (must be on official MLB DL)

Auction Format:
$260 to be spent on the entire roster of 29 players during the auction.

Before each auction all free agents and non-keepers will have their salaries reset to $1

During the season each team will be able to use up to $300 in salary cap space. This permits teams to trade more easily to help the trading process.

Free Agent Pickup:
We all have busy lives so to keep things fair the FAAB process will run twice a week, Wednesday and Sunday nights. Each team will have $100 in FAAB money to spend each season.

A players salary will not change if he is dropped from an owners team.

NO FREE AGENT DUMPING, if a owner drops any player and it comes to the commissioner's attention that this is an attempt to disrupt the integrity of the league that player will be put back on the team of the owner who dropped the player(s).

Each player that is picked up through free agency, that was not originally purchased in the auction will be subjected up to 2 years of free agent salary increases if this player is kept by an owner. After the original year that this player is picked up the player's salary will increase to $5 and then $10 the 2nd year.

Trading System
Trades are subject to a 2-day voting period, where owners MUST explain why they are objecting to the trade. Trades receiving more than 5 objections are sent to the commissioner for approval or disapproval.

No trading of a teams extra salary space or part of a players salary, only players can be traded with their whole salary carrying over to the new team.

No Dumb Trades, their must be some logic behind an extremely lopsided trade.

Setting Lineups:
Each team must fill all the active roster spots at all times, stats will not be collected with an illegal roster.

The Injured Reserve Roster is only available to players that are on the official DL. WARNING once a player comes off the official DL that player must be dropped or moved to the reserve / active roster BY THE FOLLOWING MONDAY.

Owners can keep up to 5 players with a maximum of $100 allocated the owner's keepers.

Each keeper will receive a boost in salary by 20%; this increase takes place at the end of the season some time before keepers are determined. A keepers salary will be rounded to the nearest dollar. For example a $8 keeper purchased in the auction will cost the owner $10 the following season.

(2011_addition): Keepers costing ($1-4) will cost $5 & ($5-9) will cost $10 if kept the following year.

Any player that is kept by an owner that is minor league eligible will not receive an increase in salary unless this player was picked up via FAAB.

Poll & Voting Guidelines:

If you wish to post a poll please ask the commish. The league does not allow polls that could cause disruption among owners.

Payouts / Fees:
Subject to change, depending on the amount of owners.

CBS Fee = $160 (If payed by 02/20/2012)

Always 100% - CBS fee = $320

1st) $160
2nd) $100
3rd) $60

Entry Fee $40

League Payment

- Due anytime before the auction, must be received in order to participate in the auction. Sooner or Later it does not matter as long as you have it sent so that I will receive it before the auction date.

- I prefer paypal, it is fast, secure, and easy to deal with, send it as a gift so no fees are deducted.
