16-team Keeper league (6 keepers), H2H 6x6 categories. I have the 3rd and 19th overall picks, but don't have a pick in the 3rd round.
It sounds like Yu Darvish is going #1 and Mike Napoli is going #2. With most other teams keeping 2 SP, I’m more inclined to take a SP first (clearly I at least need to take a SP with one of my first 2 picks). But I’m also wondering if the available talent and my other positions-of-need (namely LF and CF) is so thin that I need to fill one of those holes first.
Question is, do I take a SP in the 1st round and hope that a position-of-need (LF, CF or maybe 1B) has a good bat still around in round 2 and otherwise take another SP to solidify my top end if no worthy bats remain, or do I go for the bat in the first round and take the best SP available at my 2nd pick regardless?
Here is a brief overview of the higher-end players that are available by position, followed by my keepers/openings. Any words of advice to help me prepare for my draft would be outstanding!!!
