I agree with this. I think Mauer is still getting by because of his numbers a few years ago. He is a decent C with a lot of injury risk. I think Posey has more upside and is safer.

Posey would be my pick easily. If Mauer played on the Rangers I would give him the nod, but Target Field + horrible lineup =

Id be tempted to go with Mauer as he will have an up year and you can pick up power else where, I like a relible AVG at C.
At the same point in the draft I would chose Posey though, just a little more upside.
If you could wait a round to grab Mauer then that might just be the difference
