Wassup all, my name is Bryan and I am a co-commissioner of a 10-team fantasy baseball pay league hosted by CBS Sportsline. The league, named Moonlight Graham League, is about ten years old and most members have been active owners for 5+ years. The participation is mixed with some more active than others, but we're definitely a bunch of trustworthy brethren. The league is filled with people from many walks of life; a lawyer, a doctor, a soccer coach, a banker, a church league recreation instructor, a restauranteur, and an office manager. This past year, we sadly had to say goodbye to three teams that chose to leave for various reasons. One guy had been in the league for about 8 years and had yet to win and grew frustrated, so he and his brother decided to explore a different format. The other owner, who had only been in the league for 1 year, wanted to try a keeper league. Our format (non-keeper) is head-to-head with points earned for multiple statistical categories. Rosters are for a full week (meaning you set your roster once per week), with 23 scoring periods in the season. I'd be happy to provide more details upon inquiry and interest. The buy-in is $125.00 and we have $0.25 per transaction fee (excludes trades). The transaction fees go to fund the League Pick 'Em purse. Also, to keep every competitive throughout the season, there are two sucking penalties for the two lowest finishing teams, $50 and $25, respectively. The payout is as follows:
WINNER's PURSE will be as follows: $575 to 1st Place (World Series Champion); $290 to 2nd Place (World Series Runner-Up); $175 to 3rd Place (winner of the Shame Game); $125 to 4th Place (loser of the Shame Game). All seeding ties will be broken by division records. All other ties will be broken by point total, then, if necessary, at the sole discretion of the Commissioner.
LEAGUE PICK 'EM
The overall winner of the regular season League Pick 'Em will be awarded the total Add transaction fees collected at the end of the season.
If you're intested, let me know.
