David Wright - Upper Rib Cage Muscle

Postby GardnerRunsRampant » Sat Mar 03, 2012 9:54 am

Probably nothing (considering his injury history - worth noting), but Anthony McCarron just tweeted this:

"David Wright is scratched from today's intra-squad game. Upper rib cage muscle. Will workout and is still slated to play Mon."

Update - Additional tweet from McCarron:

"David Wright is missing today's intra-squad with left rib cage stiffness, Mets say. Still slated to play Monday"

It's probably nothing but spring training soreness. Like hitting the gym after not working out for a month. Still, considering his past, it's worth keeping an eye on.
