That's definately a senior league whether you want to admit it or not... ;-)

I'll be 32 next month and have been playing since I was 18. I was a senior in high school and saw one of my teachers with 3-4 magazines/newspapers scattered on his desk and asked him what it was he was doing...been playing ever since. ;-D

haha... I'm 30 and I started when I was 16. the game has come along ways since I was manually figuring out team batting averages on a weekly basis when I should have been paying attention in math class..

My dad is 58 and has been in the same league for over 20 years.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

We did daily boxscore calculations for a few years and then a couple years of compiling everything off Baseball Weekly, then commissioner.com (the old CBSSports site) for a year then Yahoo starting around 2001.

I'll be 43 Sunday and I've been playing since I was 20, 1989. It was in college and we all met every Tuesday night with our USATodays and beer to calculate our stats and standings by hand.

For some reason I remember Nick Esasky was on my team. I was never a fan of his, so I don't know why he's the only one I remember from that first year.

Don Mattingly was my favorite player and I remember I had to have him the following year so I traded Mark Gubicza for him right after our draft in 1990, my first ever trade, didn't work out too well for either of us.

We have a guy in our league I estimate is pushing 70. As commish, this thread has got me morbidly thinking about how to handle a death in the league...
