welcome to the cafe!

if you get a moment please register. It makes it easier for you to keep up with messages you've already read and allows you to play our free games like the weekly Pick 3! is my analysis based on a 12 team 5x5 league..

Peavy, if healthy, should have a decent year. I suspect he'll have stats like the following:
4.20 1.30 150ks 13-14 wins

Padilla will have something like
3.80 1.25 13-15 wins and 130ks

i'd probably give the edge to Padilla since his run support is greater then Peavys.

as for the hitters Derrek Lee:
.275-.280 37 hrs 100 runs 95 rbi and 15 steals

.290 28 80 90 0

I think I'd rather have the D. Lee/Peavy side of this deal.

Just my opinion.

Peavy/Lee, but it's very close. Peavy and Padilla are pretty equal, as well as Lee and Ortiz (I think he has 7 bombs this spring so he looks like he's for real) with maybe Lee's SB's being the difference.
