And there is the Theo bashing right on time. Even I'm starting to feel bad for Crawford now, though. What a joke of an organization the Sox are becoming.

I'm not going to defend the Wells contract, but neither Jones or Markakis come anywhere close to the player that Wells was in his prime.

Wells was only good because of Roids. I know this because my cousin's friend's cousin saw him do it.

wasn't sure where to drop this, but here looks good.
the Red Sox now have pitcher Chris Carpenter.
..but before Sox fans start jumping up and down, it's not THAT Chris Carpenter.
rotoworld
Red Sox acquired RHP Chris Carpenter from the Cubs as compensation for general manager Theo Epstein.
The situation is finally resolved after close to four months of fruitless haggling. Carpenter, 26, was a third-round pick in the 2008 MLB Amateur Draft. He posted a 5.91 ERA in 42 2/3 innings last season between Double-A Tennessee and Triple-A Iowa, and projects as nothing more than a middle reliever. The Sox will also get a player to be named later and will send the Cubs a player to be named later.

Red Sox fan: OMG we just got Chris Carpenter! we now have a great rotation, woo!
Red Sox fan: wait, what do you mean a different Chris Carpenter?
Red Sox fan: damn, oh well.
