I have Jackson I am thinking about grabbing Martin. Should I keep Jackson or grab Martin this move is based on keeper value only I am out of the playoffs for this season.

This is a great question and interesting dilema. Jackson is probably safer and should be a player that hits 15-20ish hr's and steals 15ish bases a year with a bit more upside. Martin on the other hand has louder tools and could turn into a Carl Crawford-ish type (think 12-15 hr's and 40-50 steals) player but also has a bigger chance of busting than Jackson.
Typically in fantasy I swing for upside simply because if you can get a top 25-50 player it is so much more valuable over a solid guy that is in the 75-100 range. I would lean towards Martin but realize he has a lot of work to still do with the bat to reach that potential.

I'd have to go with Jackson. While he'll probably not hit for average as he strikes out way too much, he's got the coveted power/speed combo and should produce for a long time.
I'm concerned about Martin not being ready to hit at the Major League level as he's only played around 80 minor league games total. It seems like his biggest asset is his defense and speed.

If you want more of a sure bet to make an immediate impact, go with Jackson. Mi like martin's upside but more long term.
