Hanley Rant ... just can't help it.

Allow me a small to moderate Hanley rant...

Our trade deadline was August 14th, around the time when we as owners were assured Hanley would be back in 2-3 days or whatnot. Prior to the deadline, I had the opportunity to get Romero and Jeter for my Ethier and Matt Harrison. With Bonifacio crushing the ball and Hanley allegedly back soon, I went with a different deal: Freddie Freeman and Romero for Ethier and Harrison. Still a great deal, as many attested to.

But now this sucks... I know I'm crying a river here, but man if this chump hadn't strung us along again with his injuries I could be plugging Jeter in my SS spot instead of a cooling Bonifacio while trying to find space for Freeman. Much of this is on me, but there is definitely some frustration with Hanley. I didn't own him last year, but I gather he mailed it in most of September with sore elbows or something. Is the guy soft? Or just a loser. ... end of rant. Feel free to chime in. anyone better than Bonifacio out there at SS?
