Team is listed in sig. Madson's back. Do you think I have too many closers? I hate just dropping them. Anyone else you'd drop?

I think having 5 closers would be a little excessive, so if it was me I would drop Parnell.

I agree, in a 5x5 H2H, I don't see the point.

Well its 4 closers and Venters. My offense is tearing it up every week so I focused on Saves, ERA and WHIP, and tossed K's and QS, unless late in the week I'm in contention for them. Its landed me with a 6.5 game 1st place lead. Do you still think having the 4th is excessive? The 2nd place team has 3 closers, so I figure it would give me the edge there should we meet down the road...

Maybe I'm missing something here, but why would you drop Parnell?
Isn't Venters the drop here? He doesn't close, and he won't close ever this year. Parnell, even if Izzy is given the chance at first, will ultimately close out games for the Mets when Izzy gets dealt as well.
I'd keep Parnell and ditch Venters.

Thats what I was leaning towards. I'm trying to move Venters in a 2 for 1 deal right now that would solve that but I think he's the odd man out, as good as he's been.

yeah I'd drop Venters...You can always grab a Setup guy with great WHIP and k/9 later if you want to.

I would keep Venters over Purnell....
Reason: Kimbrel is a rookie closer, so him blowing up in the second half with a big division on the line would not surprise me one bit. And with Izzy as a proven commodity (sorry folks, he has a lot of saves for a reason), Purnell loses value in my eyes.
Please help with mine

Even in Kimbrel blows up, do you think they'd put ANOTHER rookie in the role?
Odds are the Braves add a veteran guy to throw in the bullpen (*cough*Izzy, even*cough*). If Kimbrel falters, which he won't anyway, I don't think they give it to Venters either.
Drop Venters. Guys like Venters are a dime a dozen. Holds aren't rewarded anyway. Go for LIKELY save potential.
