What should I do to improve?

So, my friend suggested I join this forum for advice.

I am a first year player, H2H dynasty league. So, I am stuck in last place, 50 games back. I have begun rebuilding and have made some WW pickups and a few trades. Now, I am looking for advice on where to go from here.

Wow, that is a sad bunch. You didn't say how many teams are in the league. If it's 12 or less you need some serious revamping.

Starting in a dynasty league for your first season is a tough way to go. You need to realize that this team is going to be several seasons away from being able to compete if it is a smaller size league. Try and trade the Huff & Rolen type players to teams that might have an injury or need for 1 of these guys. Look for injured players that won't help contenders this year that you can stash and use next year. Be sure to put more information in your posts like how many keepers you get, any keeper rules or restrictions.
I suggest you play in a couple single season next year and 2nd half leagues this year to learn more about the players, this league isn't going to be much fun for the next couple years
