IS IT TIME TO GIVE UP ON ADAM DUNN?

Postby war106 » Wed Jun 22, 2011 9:14 am

My offense has been pretty potent all year, so I've been able to deal with Dunn's worthlessness. But, my question is, how long am I supposed to wait for this guy to turn things around? Is this guy ever going to start hitting homeruns? I don't want to drop him, because someone will pick him up and if and when he turns it around I will be kicking myself. And I can't trade him either because I would get nothing back.

What should I do about Adam Dunn?

I think the answer to this kind of depends on the size of the league and what players are available on the WW. I was a Dunn owner but dropped him recently for Danny Espinosa and have not regretted it one bit.

I've got the same problem, like many people. And I'm going down with that ship. If I drop him he'll hit 20 HR the last two months. He'll sit on my bench until he starts hitting them in bunches. I just have to believe it'll happen at some point. He's been too consistent in his career.
