Morneau trade - WHIR

Postby blmurs » Mon Jun 20, 2011 9:23 am

Should I sell Morneau for what I can get or hold tight since I don't really need him, and it's possible that he'll return to his old form.
3 options I'm condiering if I decide to deal: (14 team pts league head to head, non keeper league).

1. Morneau for Ichiro
2. Morneau for Olivo & Yunel
3. Morneau & Beckham for Beltran & Latos
4. Hold

Do I deal him, or do I hold on?
#3 I would do b/c I could use the pitching, and #1 I'm considering. #2. I probably wouldn't do although I could use a C and SS upgrade, and could be convinced.. Deal or Hold?

Trade #3 is probably the best value for him. Not a fan of Ichiro anymore...think his age is starting to catch up to him

No. 3 is the only one that I would even consider...... But he really doesn't have much value, so I think your only real option is to hold him or package him somehow. But 1B is a really deep position, so there are pretty much no teams that would be desperate for a 1B enough to trade for him at this point.
