Who goes?

Postby wkpdpack » Sun Jun 19, 2011 8:40 pm

I just traded Wright and Nishioka for Beckett, Capps, and Ichiro. I'm also activating D. Lee. Which 4 players go from my roster?

My team:
C-C. Santana, Iannetta (we play 2 catchers)
2B-K. Johnson
SS-Al. Ramirez
CI-J. Turner
OF-Braun, Kemp, Stanton, R. Roberts, S. Smith
Pitchers-Chacin, Cueto, R.A. Dickey, D. Hudson, Jimenez, C. Lee, Morton, Putz, League
Bench-Bay, Morrow, Leake
DL- Wright, D. Lee, Harang, Nathan, McClellan, F. Sanchez
Minors-Arencibia, Sano, C. Kelly

Thanks for the feedback.

I would drop Leake, Revere, Bay, and Smith. As a Mets fan, Bay has been a huge disappointment and I do not see him playing well for the rest of this season (or ever as a matter of fact). The other three are average players and could easily be replaced.

Bay: After about 130 games of horribleness I'd say he's safe to drop
Roberts or Turner: Those 2 guys went off to fast starts this season, but neither has sustained production or been as useful since, I'm leaning toward dumping Roberts though
Revere: He'll get you some SBs but won't produce much anywhere else
Leake: Worst pitcher of yours, and since you're getting 2 pitchers, he's probably the best candidate of yours to drop. He's gonna come down to earth soon, in relation to his recent production
