The fact that Lawrie broke his hand, doesn't make me want to keep him on my roster, especially a non keeper league, when this may delay him being called up. I've read 2-4 weeks, but thats not counting all the rehab for it. I think I'd rather hold on to Soriano, knowing he's going to play, then a guy that may not be called up.
I'm a navy corpsman, and from my experience with broken hands, its not a slow recovery, but not fast either. Some therapy or strengthening is going to be needed for this injury. And its all about how the hand will respond to that, will determine how fast he's brought in. And if Toronto isn't in the mix for a playoff spot, they may not bring him up at all. Not sure how that whole arbitration works, but they might be able to avoid that until next year. THats worse case scenario though.Help with Mine?
