I am in a 12 person Mixed league
We are head to Head each week and compete in 12 catergories
It is a weekly league so i cant switch players in and out, they are Mon - Sun

Hitting = Ave, HR, Rbi's, Run's, BB, and SB's

Pitching = ERA, WHIP, W's, Sv's, K's , and QS's

Here is my team

C - Posada
1b - Votto
2b - R. Weeks
3b - Youkalis
ss - lowrie
OF - Stanton, Ellsbury, Choo
Util - Adrian Gonzalez
Bench - Coghlan, Alexei Ramirez, J. pierre
DL - Bloomquist, Nishioka Tsuyoshi

SP - Kershaw, Lilly, Morrow, Helickson, Sanchez, R. Wolf, M scherzer
RP - Jordan Walden, Jose Valverde, John Axford

I have been offered this trade:
Buster Posey, Tulo, Gallardo, & Volquez for A-Gonz, Lowrie, and Kershaw

to be honest im not sure this helps my team, as A-Gonz has been beasting and lowrie is playing well also.. plus kershaw is better then any of the pitchers he offers me in return.. I think i will reject this trade but wanted some more opinions

Seems like an Ok offer but I'd probably decline for the same reasons you mentioned. Lowrie and Posada are serviceable so you don't need to be desperate.

You can always post these trade offers or ideas on You input the players and league details and the community of managers votes on which side of the trade they'd prefer to receive. So you know exactly how reasonable or lopsided a deal might be. It also helps when dealing with other managers so that instead of just saying, "your offer stinks," you can say "87% of managers think your offers stinks."

Tough one. I see Tulo for A-Gonz as a fair swap, so I think it comes down to this: Is upgrading from Posada (who I personally think is trash at this point) to Posey worth downgrading from Kershaw to Gallardo? I think Gallardo will be OK, but I'm not certain enough of that to pull the trigger on this deal, if I were in your shoes. Its close though.

I would take the trade if a better pitcher can be obtained. I think it's a matter of time before Posada becomes a part-time player. Posey, and Tulo are top 5 at their positions. Lowrie is unproven over the length of a full season, but A.Gonzalez is an elite run producer. I would see if you can squeeze someone better than Volquez (a walk machine and very disappointing) and Gallardo from the deal, but I think you improve in two positions (SS and C) and can always find a productive Util player.
