Yes I would do this. Getting another solid closer and a hot Zobrist who may be back to his 2 years ago form is a solid return for a hot starting Weaver. Weaver is good but he won't keep up this pace all year. I would do it.

my first thought is no.
why do you want Zobrist?
I don't think Weaver is going to be this good, but he is still an ace. losing Weaver I think leaves your pitching not as good. Marcum, Hanson, Wandy, Kuroda, Wilson, Floyd, McClellan.
I'm not a fan of McClellan. as the season goes on I think he is going to hit a wall. he has been a reliever in recent seasons. IMO Wandy should only be used at home. he has had great seasons at home during his career, but not so much on the road.
getting Bell is OK. closers come and go so much you could maybe get additional closers off waivers, but Bell IS someone you can count on.
I don't think your team needs Zobrist. I'd rather have someone other than Zobrist with Bell, but that's me.

I wouldn't do this. You'd be buying really high on Zobrist when the only place for him to go is down. Yes he's red hot but there's no way he maintains that and is bound to normalize. You have 3 closers already. I understand that none of them are as good as Bell, but they are all pretty safe in their roles.

You can't really afford to lose Weaver. He's definitely not as good as his first 5 or 6 starts indicate, but he's an ace and you need him. Stay away from this trade.

No, I wouldn;'t do this. You have a solid offense as it is, and having Weaver follwed by Hanson and Marcum is a great 1-2-3 punch. You have three legit closers already. See if you can trade a couple of lower SP for a low-end closer and stand pat after that.

Should I give Cliff Lee to get Evan Longoria? Help here please:

I don't' do this deal, this takes a big hit on your staff and you already have closers, even though Bell would be nice, there are always closers that pop up during the season if one of yours really tanks.

I'll add another no to this also. I would not do this deal. Not sold on Zobrist and while I like Bell a lot, as others have said, you can get cheap saves on the waiver wire without exposing Weaver. If you want to move Weaver, look for a better option than Zobrist.
