Well, I have tried everything under the sun to try and trade some of my pitching for hitting and had been rejected on all fronts. Then I got a trade sent to me that I could use your advice on.
The trade is: I trade Leo Nunez for Victor Martinez.
It is an 8 team, 10x9 roto league with:
2b, 3b, R, RBI, SB, AVG. K's, HR, Errors, BB
W, L, CG, Shutouts, ERA, WHIP, SVs, K's, HR
My team right now:
P-Mark Melancon( Brandon Lyon on the DL)
P-Vicente Padilla(had Jonathon Broxton)
Thoughts? I have my initial thoughts, but wanted to see what you thought.
Just an FYI, my closers have taken a huge hit this week.
I dropped Jonathon Broxton and picked up Vicente Padilla and I put Brandon Lyon on the DL and picked up Mark Melancon.
That leaves my closers as:
John Axford, Leo Nunez, Vicente Padilla, and Mark Melancon. Obviously Nunez is the only guy who has been decent this year and I do not see much out on the waiver wire, but here is who is out there for potential pickups:
MAtt Thorton, Ryan Franklin, Frank Francisco, Joe Nathan, Chris Sale, Hong Chih Kuo, Koji Uehara, Jonny Venters, Rafael Soriano, Jose Contreras(dl), and Eduardo Sanchez, Darren Oliver.
