I would pass too. Granderson is just too inconsistent, while Ichiro is Mr. Consistent. And Marmol is a pretty big upgrade over Valverde.
Help w/mine?

I agree that this seems like a bit too much to give up if all you need is home runs. Why don't you aim for someone that is purely a power hitter? Curtis' hot start is going to make him pricey, and you are going to have to pay for him.. Is there anyway you can each add a third player to the deal, this way it makes it more enticing for you and equal for both sides?

Actually, I too agree with the majority... Though Granderson will out-perform Ichiro in my option (Ichiro only gives you .AVG and maybe some speed, maybe 25-30 SB's, if even that?) but don't give up your best closer for a severe downgrade in Valverde... Good luck man!

no do not take the new trade the problem is Marmol is better then Valverde, and I would rather have Ichrio's consistency and some speed over Granderson's power.

I take the deal, but that's me. Granderson has the THIRD most HRs since the beginning of August. Behind... Troy Tulowitzki and Jose Bautista. Now that he can hit HRs of lefties, I project him for 40 this year. Forrealz.
Runs won't be there, as the Yankees keep bouncing him to 7th, 8th, or even 9th in the order, and his OBP really isn't going to be there (Ks too much), but I am a total believe.

It should hurt! I think you can land someone better for Ichiro and Marmol. Especially the Marmol side of the deal; the guy is filthy. I say pass.
Thanks for the help on mine!

I would not do this trade. Marmol not only gives you an advantage in SVs, but also in Ks. I would want better players in return.
