Who are the other starting pitchers available?
The reason I ask is I'm not sure it's right to believe in Lohse right now. Why?
- His current opposing BABIP is .246, completely unsustainable, especially considering his career number is .305.
- He's walking batters at an obscenely great ratio of 0.81 (Career, 2.75)
In the end, Lohse is what he is. He will win between 6 and 12 games with an ERA between 4.25 and 4.75...in other words, completely mediocre in real baseball and basically useless in fantasy baseball. If you already had Lohse, I'd suggest to take advantage of his hot streak and strike a deal while his value is peaking.
Hope that helps; good luck!
