So, my team is solid but riddled with solid guys who are on the DL, looking for thoughts on tweaks I should make. Roster is as follows (DL guys are red)
START - C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3 OF, Util
C - McCann
1B - Pujols
2B - Walker, Utley
3B - Reynolds
SS - Rollins
OF - Gardner, A. Gordon, Zobrist, Sizemore, Hart
Util - R. Martin
START - 3 SP, 2 RP, 3 P
SP - Kershaw, Buchholz, Garza, Baker, E. Santana, Morrow, Greinke
RP - Soria, Papelbon, R. Soriano, Bailey
I think the DL guys are worth waiting for more or less across the board, the exception being Utley (but he's too good to drop, and I can't trade him). I think the question marks are really:
I think he'll have value from May on, but do I wait for Mo to tire? Or do I pull the trigger on better closer opp or grab another batter or SP?
Really looks awful... I think I have to wait it out, but do I jump ship on a prospect while they're still available?
Available waiver prospects as follow:
B. Boesch (OF) - Looks good, crowded...
L. Morrison (OF) - Looks solid
J. Gomes (OF) - Avg sucks, but...
M. Brantley (OF) - Avg and steals are nice
J. Willingham (OF) - Avg is awful
J. Cueto (SP) - Prospects seem good
J.A. Happ (SP) - Peripherals look good
F. Garcia (SP) - Looked good today
B. McCarthy (SP) - Looks pretty solid
F. Carmona (SP) - Outside his 1st game looks solid
M. Boggs (RP) - Looks like he'll take the STL job
J. Rauch (RP) - Not great, but an actual closer.
Any help is appreciated... leave a link and I'll reply in kind.
