Trade Jay Bruce for Chris Sale?

So I play in a 10 team, H2H, keeper league (1st year). I am seriously considering trading my Jay Bruce for his Chris Sale even though their pre-draft rankings weren't even close.

My team:
C: Matt Weiters
1B: Kevin Youkilis
2B: Ian Kinsler
3B: Pedro Alvarez
SS: Elvis Andrus
OF: Mike Stanton, Carlos Gonzalez, Jason Heyward
Utl: Alex Gordon
Utl: Jay Bruce
Bench: Brian Roberts

SP: Halladay, Gallardo, Brett Anderson, Daniel Hudson, Michael Pineda, Kyle Drabek, Jeremy Hellickson, Matt Garza, Ricky Nolasco
RP: Joe Nathan, Brandon Lyon

What do you think? Both players are young and have upside. I probably need a closer over a OF for the furure but I don't value closers as much as I do OF's. Thoughts? Advice?

I don't see a reason to make this move as you'd be selling Bruce quite low in my opinion. The Chicago closer situation is murky at best right now, and Bruce will turn things around.

Agreed. Bruce will turn it around and who knows what's happening in Chicago.

Do not make that trade.

Sale might close for CHW, but he might not. Bruce is a monster and carries much more value.

Sale will not be the full-time closer. Even though Thorton blew it again the other day, Sale gave up 3 runs right afterwards.

No way you should do this. Bruce could breakout and who knows who the closer in CHI is gonna end up being

yes, you guys are right. I guess the main reason for even thinking about this trade was the idea that Sale would be in the rotation next year. Being in a keeper league, I thought that might be a savvy move if he made the transition. But ultimately who knows and Bruce probably is mire valuable. ;-D

Even if Sale was the full time closer I wouldn't deal Bruce for him.You would be selling extremely low on Bruce and it is way too early to worry about slumps and such. Bruce is even a better keeper then Sale. Good choice to reconsider the move.

You really shouldn't even consider this trade idea. Bruce has far greater value.
