I am in a 14 team pts league and David Murphy for the rangers is sitting on the waiver wire. I have B Wallace with houston and M turombo with the angels. Should I drop one of them for murphy?
My league settings are:
1B - Singles 1 point
2B - Doubles 2 points
3B - Triples 3 points
BB - Walks (Batters) 1 point
CYC - Hitting for the Cycle 10 points
HR - Home Runs 4 points
R - Runs 1 point
RBI - Runs Batted In 1 point
SB - Stolen Bases 1 point

I would definitely drop either of them to make room for Murphy...Wallace does not have a solid lineup in Houston and Trumbo is only temp, more so than Murphy...plus Murphy plays in Texas (hitter friendly park)

I'm a big fan of David Murphy this season. I picked him up in a 12 team league because I believe he'll eventually take a chunk of Julio Borbon's PT. He's splitting time with Borbon, but Borbon continues to struggle at the plate, in the field, and on the bases.
Murphy will be playing everyday for the next 6-8 weeks, and I believe he'll force the manager to keep getting him more AB's than he did before Hamilton's injury, even after Hamilton comes back.

I'd drop either, but Troumbo first.
