Pelfrey as a two timer or Walden for saves

Postby Lips » Sun Apr 10, 2011 10:31 pm

My league is a standard 12 team 5x5 league. pitching stats are wins, saves, era, whip, k's.

My pitching staff:
Heath Bell
Jon Broxton
Huston Street
Justin Verlander
Josh Johnson
Tim Hudson
Trevor Cahill
CJ Wilson
and Mike Pelfrey

Pelfrey has killed me so far. I also have on my bench

John Lannan
Barry Zito
Jordan Walden
Jose Contreras
Brandon Webb
Johan Santana

The question: Who do I start this week: Pelfrey or Walden?

Pelfrey starts twice this week: Could get two wins, could blow up on me.

Walden plays cleveland and White sox.

I am leading in saves so far, and am looking to build a lead in saves that can't be caught before having a mid-season trade of a closer or two for a great player.
I WHIR. Leave me a link.

Is there a max innings in your league? I don't trust Pelfrey in either case. I'd sit him and go with Walden.
