Help with 2nd pick tonight. WHIR

Postby LeftyQB » Mon Mar 28, 2011 10:09 am

12 team Yahoo points league. We keep 1 hitter and 1 pitcher. I am keeping Crawford and Lester. Top players available are Pujols (probably 1st pick), Tulo, M. Cabrera,CGon, Braun, Halladay. Leaning towards Tulo due to position scarcity. Please advise and leave a link.

Id go with Tulo...if Hanley is not available. SS drops off severely after Tulo and HanRam. 1b and OF are fairly deep.

If you are going to spring for someone else Id go with Cabrera...High average and very consistent numbers.

Good Luck!

It is close but I'd go with Miggy. The team doesn't seem too concerned with his alchohol problem and he is much safer then Tulo. If you take away Tulo's 1 monster month, his numbers were somewhat average.

Thanks for the help with mine!

I think I'd go with Tulo as well, simply because of position scarcity.

Tulo, but I would not fault you if you took Miggy ... it's likely Miggy outperforms Tulo nearly everywhere but the odds are you will get a much worse SS alternative than you will 1B alternative, so Tulo edges out Miggy.

Tulo or Miggy. I have no qualms about Miggy performing on the field, given his personal fiascos. You'd certainly get better production than Tulo, and you'd still wouldn't miss out much on SS if you grab someone like Alexei or even Jed Lowrie later on.

I agree w/everybody on position scarcity but if u want a good safe pick I say go M-Cab. Tulo has been very injury prone and as somebody else stated... take out that monster september and his numbers were nothing amazing last year. If your gonna go w/SS bc of position scarcity it has to be Hanley imo or else u can't pass on Cabrera. Thnx for the help on mine.
