I hate it when people post a simple question and get no reply. Let me take a crack at this:
C: Carlos Santana-You did good here
1B: Adam Dunn-ok
2B: Gordon Beckham-ok
3B: Ryan Zimmerman-solid pick
SS: Hanley Ramirez-this guy is on a mission. Out of which position were you drafting?
1B/3B: Kendry Morales-good
2B/SS: None-obviously this needs to be addressed.
OF: Matt Holliday-Money in the bank.
OF: Mike Stanton-Sit back and watch this guy make you look like a genius
OF: Colby Rasmus-upside
OF: Drew Stubbs-upside
OF: Carlos Beltran-downside
Utility: Adam Lind-this guy is a mystery
Bench: Carlos Ruiz-under-rated back-up to your young stud C
Clayton Kershaw-young, great numbers, upside
Jaime Garcia-nice pick
Daniel Hudson-nice sleeper!
Jordan Zimmerman-yet another example of potential
Neftali Feliz-will address later
Gavin Floyd-I'm guessing that you STOLE this guy
John Axford-Under-rated, ....super solid
In summary, you worry too much. You drafted power, speed, and upside. You DIDN'T overspend on closers. You probably didn't overspend on catchers. You may have challenges to put together a dominant SP staff in a 10 team league here, ....but you can engineer that with your starting foundation. Now, ....on to Feliz. Everybody is deathly afraid of Feliz. As evidence, .....I'm in two leagues and have him in neither. With that said, ....what is to fear? Yes, he was a dominant closer, ....if he is shifted to starter, the chances that he will shine at that position are remote. Closer is the SAFE bet. Don't worry so much. He won't likely be shifted to SP. If he is, ....he might just do fine. In the meantime, ....there is a tremendous turnover rate for closers, ....keep your eyes open and hedge your bets.
