What kind of season does anyone think he's gonna have. I personally think he's gonna have a solid year and hopefully spending the majority of the season at DH will keep him healthy and on the field. Everywhere I look he's being projected at under 400 AB's... at DH I just don't see that being the case, closer to 500 or so AB's and I think he's every bit capable of a 25-30 HR season w/a strong avg. I haven't done any drafts yet... where is he going? Just looking for a few opinions... leave a link and I got u right back.

yeah honestly i agree u can def get him late and cheap..i do think he should be good protection for longoria and i think hell be solid..i seen a slip on mlb network how he changed all his workouts out to strengthen hid body more and become quicker later in career..i wouldn't take um early but keep um on the radar for sure.. check me out viewtopic.php?t=423376

Thanks for the help on mine. Manny is a good late round buy, but I don't think he will go past 450 ab's. TB will rest him frequently, even as a dh, and he's probably going to land on the 15 day dl at some point at his age. Throw in the inevitable antics that come with Manny, and 450 ab's seems pretty generous. That said, if you're in a league with daily lineup changes, and can keep up with the day-to-day Manny news, he's a good play because he'll probably still hit when he's in there. If you're in a league with weekly changes, though, he's probably not worth it.

Well Vlad sure had a rebound season at a late age, and Manny can do it too. He's less brittle.

I just finished an auction league draft and got Manny late for 7 bucks. A bargain in my mind since I agree with the guy who said he will get 500 AB's. I think he has something to prove and we all know he can still hit. I think realistically you can get him anywhere from round 12-18 depending. And I see him hitting 300 or close to it with 20-25 HR. A solid bargain late in a draft.

thanks for your help with mine

I agree with the 500 AB and 300 avg and 25 dongs this year. I just got him late in an auction draft for 7 dollars and think you can get him late in drafts for a bargain 300 hitter.

thanks for your help with mine.
