I have run a local keeper league for the past three years which pretty much fell through due to the lack of competitive nature among the participants. Therefore I'm looking to start one online so that I can attract competitive players who wish to continue year in and year out. Here are the details:

Teams: 12
Website: Yahoo! (FREE!)
League Treasurer: Fantasy Sports Vault (FREE!)
Price: $400

Also, because this is the first year, I am very open to negotiating nearly ALL of the above to fit what everybody wants, including adding a minor league development to this.

Got a few e-mails, which is great. This is meant to really be an elite players league, for those players who consider themselves experts at maintaining a team year after year and are ready to play at higher stakes for a higher prizepool.

I think, based on the few emails I have gotten, that most are interested in doing a prospect/minor league roster as well, which makes sense at these stakes. When you e-mail me, let me know how you feel about that.

I am bumping this to let everyone know that I have listened to the feedback I have been getting and have changed a number of the rules/structure. I have attached the constitution to the first post in this thread. Please read it and let me know how you all feel about the new rules.

Just FYI, you need to change the sharing settings on the google doc so that the public can view it.

Well thanks for the heads up.

For those of you who are interested, I think we are going to aim at only a 12 or 16 team league instead of 20, at least for the first year. 20 may have been overambitious at these stakes.

Update....

I have decided to start the year with just 12 teams. Should the league succeed, we could consider expansion in the future. I have updated the constitution link in the first post accordingly.

We have 7 spots left...
