Which side would you rather have in a 12 team H2H league with 6 x6 cats. (R,HR,RBI,SB,Avg, TB ---W,SV,HLD, K, ERA, WHIP)

Side A: Trevor Cahill (2) and Josh Beckett (1)

Side B: Billy Bulter(2), Jose Lopez (1) and Aroldis Chapman (3)

Numbers in parenthesis are the amount of years each player is under contract

What if Beckett is taken out of the deal and Liriano (2) is put in his place?

I would consider that if I needed pitching and could afford to lose Butler.

I'd take Side A if Liriano is in Beckett's place. While I like Butler, his power upside is a bit limited by the lineup and his tendency to hit for contact (20-25 HR tops). Chapman can make an impact but Liriano has top 5 potential if he continues on from 2010.

My initial reaction was side A is the clear choice, however my initial reaction didn't take note of the "Dynasty". Chapman will either be a stud closer or an above average starter, Butler has not quite peaked yet. Lopez is well, he's there. Beckett was clearly dealing with some injury issues last year but he has zero upside, and Cahill is another decent starter put out by the Oakland system. Even with Liriano in the mix I like Butler and Chapman.
