Im not the best with trading so I was wondering what you guys think

Am I short changing my self or should I leave it on the table because it will benefit me?

I think its too early to tell...Werth needs to be in a good line up to keep up his numbers. Markakis is pretty ok in a weak line up right now and is at the age when a hitter typically figures it all out. If I was you I would withdraw the trade until you see were Werth ends up atleast. I would also try to offer a little less that Gio myself he is also at a pretty up and up part of his carrear so you may want to hold on to him and give away someone else.

I like it, you get the best player in the deal. Werth should end up in a good offense. I've come to the conclusion Markakis is what he is and this is about all he is. SP is plenty plentiful & if this is what it costs to upgrade your offense I could live with it

I am split on this trade. I do think you are getting the best player in the deal as of today and usually that is what counts. The problem is that I like Gio and think he will be a pretty good SP any year now and I think you might end up regretting this deal. Werth is an ok OF but nothing great and his numbers will depend on where he goes. So I guess if you are in it now to win then do it. If not, then I would give Gio another year or so.

Rumors are that the 3 teams interested in Werth are, Philly-Boston-Detroit, you gotta believe that he has a chance to rake with any 3 of those offenses. Make the deal ;-D
