Sleepers question

Postby rmoneyg35 » Mon Nov 22, 2010 11:29 pm

I was just wondering, we all know that some of the projected Sleepers don't always come out and produce as expected that year but has anyone noticed how the next year they do or sometimes the predictions are just a year to early? does anyone hear use old sleeper articles from a year ago and use the information again ? For example I remember when JJ Hardy was expected to break out for three years it seemed but he didn't play well his rookie year or the next year as predicted.

I don't think it really works that way. Sure some guys take longer to develop and the sleeper tag was placed too early on them, but usually there was something that happened at the end of last season or there is an opportunity to start that presents itself in the coming season. You can still like someone you had your eye on a year ago, but to answer your question: No last years sleepers is old news
