Yankees fan? Just checking because you have Bellances and Brackman wayyyyy too high. Not saying they don't have talent but their injuries mean they have to perform in 2011 to get that high.

I actually like this list though Mesoraco and Alonso are stone cold #50 prospects.

not a Yankees fan, but I like to go out on a limb and Betances is the apple on the tree

had my eye on the guy for 4 years now and he looks like he could be special

Alonso just doesn't turn my crank as a guy with a high ceiling and that's what I like to base a lot of what I list upon. Sometimes ya win with guys like Betances, more often than not you lose, but when you win you get to brag :-D

Mesoraco was worthy of mention, we'll see if he can follow it up next year. Comparable to Arencibia I think, but I don't think either of them are all-stars, but who am I to say I suppose

I think Brackman and Betances both need to be dropped down 15+ spots. They are good, but you are overrating them a tad.

Aaron Hicks seems like a glaring omission. He hasn't produced the numbers yet, but his potential alone puts him solidly in the top 50.

Wil Myers seems a bit low, as his bat should play anywhere.

Jose Iglesias seems a bit high for a glove guy.

There are others that I could nit pick, but those seem to be the biggest discrepancies.

yeah, I just see Hicks as another Denard Span (albeit a switch hitting one) and although I did toy with the idea, I opted to leave him out

he's in my 75-80 range

as mentioned, I just love Betances' upside and noted him on the radar back in high school. supposedly he's just a great kid

a few years ago I put out a list to a bunch of friends and had Justin Verlander ranked in my Top 5 coming out of Old Dominion.
That year he wasn't to be found in a Top 50 list and I can remember the boys knocking me. the next season he was Top 5

I see Betances and Renaudo as two of the best Top of the Rotation guys out there. we'll see, it's fun to speculate. thanks for
the feedback

i threw Iglesias in there just to please my pitiful friends who are Red Sox fans. looks like a glove only as I mention in my
crazy Youtube video
