Houston, TX (Sports Network) - The Houston Astros on Thursday acquired infielder Mike Lamb from the New York Yankees in exchange for minor league pitcher Juan DeLeon.
The 28-year-old Lamb is a career .282 hitter in 357 games over four major league seasons with the Texas Rangers. He has 19 career home runs and 117 RBI.
Lamb was acquired by the Yankees from Texas in the offseason in exchange for right-handed pitcher Jose Garcia.
DeLeon, 23, was 2-0 with a 1.83 ERA and two saves in 26 games for Single-A Lexington last season.
