A keeper league draft question/challenge for the experts!

A keeper league draft question/challenge for the experts!

Hi folks, I think I've got a question right up this forum's alley.

I'm in an 11 team keeper league with an annual draft. The number of players that can be protected is flexible, with each protect costing you a draft pick - so the less you protect, the earlier you start drafting. (The details are complicated, don't worry about them.) After this year, we'll be able to protect more players, and with my young core, I'm looking to build a strong team that will be competitive for years - while still competing this year, of course.

I have the 13th pick in the draft. Here are the players that have been protected, with my keepers in bold italics:

C
Piazza

1B
Giambi
Palmeiro
Thome
Helton
Delgado
Pujols

2B
Soriano
Alomar

3B
Rolen
Chavez
Pujols

SS
Tejada
A Rod
Jeter
Nomar

OF
J. Gonzalez
Bonds
Ichiro
Ramirez
Sosa
Abreu
Guerrero
Berkman
Pujols
Chipper
Burrell
Green
Ordonez
Beltran

SP
Clemens (Despite this guy, it really is a competitive league! :-) )
F. Garcia
Johnson
Schilling
Mulder
Morris
Lowe
Zito
Pedro

RP
Nen
Rivera
Percival

My question/challenge is for you to throw out a top 15 of remaining players! Since my first pick is the 13th overall, I figure this will help me grab my first player, and possibly my second (who knows!).

I think this will also help people grab quality players in the middle rounds of their drafts.

It's not a snake draft, so after the first round, I'll be picking every 11 picks (ninth position). Here are some players who I'm considering ranking very high, in no particular order (I left off closers, because I tend to just grab a top one at the end of the first 'run'):

Prior
Oswalt
Kent (who will be gone by my pick)
Kearns
Dunn
Wood
Mussina
Maddux
Durham
Giles
Walker
Beckett
Myers (I don't know that he's in the top 15 though)
Glaus
Hunter
Hudson
Bagwell
A. Jones
Halladay
V. Wells

Thanks in advance, and I hope you had fun with this question!
