Have you ever stuck your tongue on a 9 volt battery?

Postby Pogotheostrich » Thu Apr 15, 2010 1:23 pm

I thought everyone did this at one point when they were growing up. I mentioned this to a guy at work this morning and he looked at me like I was a serial killer. At the very least you should have had a friend/relative you dared you to do it. I remember telling my little brother that it would shock him. He didn't believe me and tried it for himself. He tried repeatedly after that but that's another story. :-D

yeah and when I was 12 or so I decided to see what it was like with a AA battery so I put the positive end on my upper lip and the negative end on my lower lip - and burned it. Highly not reccommended.

No, I wasn't much of a risk taker growing up ;-7

I also didn't have a fence pole that did that for me :-b

Little known fact: 9 volt batteries can be used as torture devices on younger (weaker) siblings. ;-D

Heck I do this every time I want to test a 9 volt battery. Did it a couple weeks ago when I was changing out my smoke detectors. :-b
