The 5 golden rules to keeping owner's interest for a 162 gaame season.

1. Head 2 head play.
Every week is a game. When the week ends it wipes the slate clean and you get to start over. Personally I think if you go a step farther and count categories as a win, it makes it a

2. Keepers, Keepers Keepers!
Give the bottom half of the league something to look foward too! In a non-keeper league, let them trade draft picks for next year.

3. Toilet Bowls and awards.
Give them something to play for. Awards for MVP, CY Young, RotY. Most HR's, RBI, etc. Toilet Bowl Prize. Our WS winner has to make and give the Toilet bowl winner a T-Shirt at next year's draft. The t-shirt has to be worn during the draft. We have some really cool shirt designs and it's work with pride every year.

4. Don't penalize them.
Making rulues that penalize bad teams is counter-productive.

5. Keep the influx of players into free agency fluuid. If you have a keeper league, limit how long a player can be kept, either a hard limit or increase the salaries enough each year to make theowner have to make a tough decision to keep the player they want by sacrificing elsewhere.
