What is most impressive about his numbers is his 61.2% GB% which is outstanding. He throws a low 90s sinker and a plus change to induce loads of GB. He also throws a curve, but it still needs to be refined. He doesn't have the huge K #'s like other elite pitching prospects, but I think his GB tendencies will help balance that out.

I think Webb is an interesting comparison, as they had similar numbers in the minors, and they both throw a very good sinker. I am not saying Chacin will develop into Webb, I think we can agree that is a best case scenario, but he does have that kind of upside. I would expect something between DLowe and Webb, which is not too bad, and definitely fantasy worthy. Being so young (21), Chacin still has some time to refine his secondary stuff, so who knows what the future has in store. Thoughts?
