League Playoff Question

Postby beezer » Wed Mar 10, 2004 10:20 pm

I'm the commish of a 14 team H2H points-based league. Does anyone have their H2H championship during the last week of the ML season?? We may do so, but I just worry if ML teams rest guys in the last week. I know the Yanks will be but I don't know about the rest of the teams. LOL. Thanks for any input.

H2H playoffs

Postby perlick29 » Wed Mar 10, 2004 11:34 pm

having commished the H2H playoffs on yahoo before, i can say that while teams do rest their stars it is only 1 day a week usually and pitchers dont often miss their scheduled starts.

However, I made the playoffs for the last two weeks of the season so that maybe stars play more often.

It is up to the people in the league who have made the finals keep up with the news to see who is going to play during that week.

H2H leagues can be fun if they are cheap. Hope that answers your question.
Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

I am keeping an eye on the earlier parts of the playoffs.

I got KILLED last year the first week of the playoffs as I had 'overRedSoxed' my team (Nomar, Millar, Mueller...) and they were on a West Coast road trip and did squat all week. I picked up Ramirez and Foulke this year and am somewhat nervous that history will repeat itself as they are headed out there again this year during the first week of the playoffs.
