However the other guy should have seen what an amazing deal he was getting and been suspicious or at the very least actually checked up on a big deal and made sure everything was legit. Just seems like a crap situation for everybody. Sorry you got stuck with a league that has those kinds of players.

I agree, anybody that does that is just a slimeball.

Did the guy purposely try to sneak him? Or was it one of those things in which the other owner interpreted it wrong?

Exactly. I think it's just desserts for the guy thinking he was getting Eric, but ends up with Endy. He thought he was screwing the other guy, but instead he's the one dropping the soap.

But, likewise, I think the deal ends up being fair with Endy instead of Eric lol

I would be wary of both of these cats in the future, and if you are the commish I would lock the guys team if he threatens to drop all of his players.

How exactly did the guy agree to take Endy?

First tip offs should have been that it was an E. Chavez who played for Montreal instead of Oakland

Second tip off should have been that it was an OF instead of a 3B.

While it does seem shady, buyer beware. If you don't take more then a minute to glance at the trade offer before accepting you deserve what you get.
