Wow, those are two power house teams. I'll try to break this down. At first glance I thought Team A had the edge due to the incredible talent of his top 3 pitchers, but as I look closer I see this might be a bit tighter than a thought.
Hitting wise, Team B seems to have an advantage in HRs, RBIs while Team A has the advantage in Runs and SBs, slightly. BA is a complete toss up.
Where Team A gets in trouble is in his bottom part of his pitching rotation. It's really holding down his staffs overall numbers. Team B has a clear advantage as far as pitching depth is concerned. Give me Bedard, Myers, Slowey, Papelbon, Broxton and Ray any day over Gallardo, Meche and 900 bottom tier relief pitchers. Team A would do itself a big favor if he cleaned up his relief pitching mess.
Both teams are extremely close, but if I had to give an edge to someone, I'd probably say Team A...although he has some work to do with his relievers.
