After year one of my expansion team, I've set my keepers for this season. The expansion team only had 3 players that I'd consider keeping this season (Kinsler, Haren, and Votto), so I think I'm pretty happy with the progress that I've made. The draft is in 2 weeks, so I'm looking for some advice. 1) How good do you think my team is? 2) What should I focus on in the draft? I realize that have ZERO help at scarce positions so I'm figuring that will be my focus early on along with 1 more top starter. I also have an extra 15th round pick.
Pitchers: Johan Santana; Chris Young; Zach Greinke; Joe Nathan; Joakim Soria
Hitters: Carlos Beltran; Adrian Gonzalez; Corey Hart; Adam Dunn; Michael Young
As for minor leaguers, I keep 5 for free. These players if are eligible to be kept without the loss of a draft pick and in addition to the max of 10 as long as they have less than 200 ABs for hitters of less than 75IP OR 20 appearances for pitchers.
Colby Rasmus (OF-Stl); Matt LaPorta (1B-Cle); Neftali Feliz (SP-Tex), Josh Vitters (3B-ChiNL); Michael Bowden (SP-Bos)
6x6 weekly HtH 14 team roto keeper (between 5 and 10 keepers (no time limits or costs), losing a draft pick for each after 5)
Offensive Categories: BA, OPS, RBI, HR, SB and Runs Scored.
