Postby Javel » Thu Mar 19, 2009 10:08 am

Finished a Yahoo standard 12 team, h2h, 5x5 draft and wondered what ya'll thought. I got 10th pick. I opted to wait on OF and took RPs earlier than I normally would cuz they were the best option at the time.

OF: DeRosa (11/130)
OF: Werth (15/178)
Util: Youklis (4/39)

Overall you catching is iffy beacause 1st Napoli is streaky as a hitter, and 2nd he will start the season on the DL

1st Base, Tex is awesome

2nd Base, Utley is a stud as well

3rd base, A Ram is a solid 3B

Shortstop, Young should hit with better power now that he is a 3B

Outfield, All very risky, who knows if Ludwick wasa one year wonder, Werth is injury plagued and DeRosa is better suited as a bench option, Players liek Adam Jones or Adam Lind have better upsides and may be available on waivers. Bradley is more injury proned than Werth

Starters,Haren, Lester, Baker and Garza are a solid 4 and Volstad could be a sleeper, I would drop Pelfrey and Jimenez ( you cant trust Colorado pitchers) for a OF and another catcher ( a solid sleeper candidate is Kurt Suzuki .270 15hrs)

Relief, Very good all 3, though Fuentes is definately the weak link and you could get a solid OF for him
