In pre-draft mode, if you have an odd number of teams, it shows you a schedule and that schedule involves teams having byes. However, if it comes to be draft time and you still have an odd number of teams, your league will not draft, so you can't actually have a schedule like that. Note there are also warnings on your league home telling you that you can't draft/proceed with an odd number of teams.
Not sure why the schedule module on the league home does that. Probably an old historical thing that is low on the priority list to fix.
