Young Arms to Target LATE

Postby GreatestShowOnEarth » Fri Feb 27, 2009 9:25 pm

My keeper draft is winding down and i was trying to think of some young arms that may have or be competing for a rotation spot this spring. Here are a few that i came up with.

Nick Adenhart - bad show performance last year but there is no doubt about what hes capable of.
Gio Gonzalez - Tim Lincecum lite anyone?
David Purcey
Adam Miller - sounds like he has a rotation spot. should improve on last years numbers

this may not relate to this year but would Madison Bumgarner probably be looking at 2010/2011?

Kyle Davies, seems strange to still think of him as "young" but he finished last season looking like he could actually live up to some of his promise. He has locked a spot in the Royals rotation.

I like Anthony Reyes from CLE, but you need to be AL-Only or a really deep league to draft him....could suprise though, was good after being traded last year.

Pelfrey, Hughes, Parra, Reyes, Buchholz, Anibal Sanchez are the guys that come to mind. Marshall could be decent if he gets a chance in OAK.

As far as rookies go, keep a close eye on Hanson and Feliz.
