It seems like you drafted a good team. The only think I can think of is perhaps trading a pitcher for a speedster who can also hit consistantly. Guys like span, gomez, pierre are good for sb but not much else. Good balanced team though.

Gomez and Pierre were two very late picks, in a hilarious attempt to corner the market on steals. While I agree with your assessment of those players you mentioned, do you really think I need to look for speed at all? I'm seeing Crawford, Furcal, Span, and Aroid, and I'm thinking I might be set.

Do you think I have enough power despite my light-hitting outfield?

Also, what type of player would I be looking for? An example? Which pitcher would you give up?

You've already helped alot, so anything else is just a bonus. Thanks.

Very solid team, pitching staff looks really good to me and will be your strength in my opinion. As far as your offense, I think you have a lot speed, might need some more power. Other than that, looks very solid to me overall.

I think that you have pretty balanced team. I'm not sure about Matsui and Dukes this year, but it doesn't look like you're lacking too much in any one category. You're pitching also looks to be pretty solid. I like Sabathia and Kazmir, but I'm not sold on Burnett. Chris Young is kind of a risk, but he does pitch in Petco and two years ago he had a really nice year. Overall, I'd say you picked a nice team - especially for a 14 team league.

I'm going to drop Gregg for a starter.

Top FA's are:

Pettite, Lohse, Moyer, Arroyo, Campillo, Sonnanstine, Snell, Zito, Penny, Wellemeyer, Dave Bush

If anyone can make a strong case for any of them, please spread the love. I'm leaning Campillo, Arroyo, or Zito at the moment.

It will be interseting to see if Zito makes a comeback, and Penny will get wins, but if the Rays make another Playoff push Sonnastine could be the Dark Horse

I think you're pretty set, you might try to package one of your 2nd tier pitchers for a better hitter to plug into that Util spot, but that's just a suggestion. Overall I like the balance.

I would drop Pierre and get a power hitting OF, just in case Ludwick was a one season wonder. You should good on speed with Crawford, Gomez, Span, Furcal, Dukes and Aviles may get you 10-15. The pitching staff is great, though with Sandoval at Catcher, I would pick up a steady backup plan, since he is still not a legitimate player (alot of players have good call up and then tank). But if you want a SP I would go with Sonnastine, he has the most upside
