Draft Help, Brown or Boone

Postby Xtreemes » Mon Mar 08, 2004 1:15 am

Im doing a keeper league draft and i need help with my first pick. heres my team so far:

brian giles
miguel tejada
sammy sosa
vladimir guererro
hank blalock
billy wagner
mark prior

i obviously need pitching, but getting bret boone and solidifying second base is tempting. Should i take Bret Boone and then focus on pitching with my upcoming picks, or take Kevin Brown?

Boone, 2b is pretty shallow and he's by far the second best 2b.

It's tough to know for sure without your league rules, but Boone is probably a better bet to help your team than Brown.

Boone. Brown might still be around next round. Boone is a top three 2B.

While you definitely need pitching, it would be really hard to pass up Boone. Take him and then just worry about 1B and pitching in the draft. SP is very deep this year.
