Guy trade Oswalt for Prior and said he's seen plenty of fantasy mags with Oswalt ranked #1 or #2. I haven't seen any. Have any of you?

To answer your question, No, I haven't seen any mag with Oswalt ahead of prior. And while I do hold Oswalt in high esteem that trade is BS. Now Oswalt may have a better season but probably not. The reason the trade is BS is Prior is a 1st round pick while Oswalt has been getting picked in the 4th at the earliest. And since the season hasn't started yet getting 1st round talent for 4th is wrong.

i think oswalt is awesome. but not prior awesome. that said, i would be happy with oswalt as my ace, cuz if he is healthy, the guy is amazing.

I haven't seen Oswalt ranked #1 anywhere.

Never seen him ranked that high.

I'm a huge Oswalt fan. I could fathom someone thinking he's better than Prior. What I don't get is that the guy who drafted Prior must have passed up Oswalt to take him. Then he makes this trade? Fishy.

He's #1 on the Astros' roster, but that's about it. Anybody that would take him #1 overall is crazy.

Oswalt wasnt even number 1 coming off his stellar season year before last..Let alone after an injury plagued 2003 season..There is definitely something wrong with that trade and as much as I hate to....I would veto it..

I agree but not at the price of Prior. That trade is B.S. because I'm sure that Prior was taken earlier than Oswalt. If he really wanted Oswalt and thought that he was better, then he would have just taken him at that point.

Or could it be that the guy getting Oswalt knows a little more about Priors injury than we do. :-?

There is no other way I would even think about trading Prior for Oswalt.
