drop cardenas? Or Tazawa or??

Postby Members Only Jackets » Sat Feb 14, 2009 3:54 am

this involves minor leaguers so I figured I'd post it in this forum....
I have a young team in a H2H keeper's very competitve....I won't be competing for another year or so but I like to get players , even a little older guys, so I can flip them down the road in a trade.

It's about the best player to have on my bench...I have THE NUMBER 1 WW FA Add this week.

How would you rank these guys:

Adrian Cardenas
Jason Werth
Mike Fontenot
Junichi Tazawa

Thanks a lot...appreciate the help

1. Jason Werth
2. Adrian Cardenas
3. Junichi Tazawa
4. Mike Fontenot

I'm not high on either Tazawa and Fontenot and in fact Fontenot wouldn't even be in discussion. Nobody knows how his pitching will translate into the majors and I'm skepical at best. You could see Cardenas as a solid SS but probably 2B for the A's starting in 2010. Jason Werth is solid. I'd figure him to have better numbers this next year than last.

Werth is tops... after that, do you need a 2B now? If so Fontenot is a decent sleeper. Otherwise yeah, he's at the bottom. So I'd rate Cardenas 2nd and Tazawa third as well.
